1. Name of the post: Sr. Scientific Asst (Physics)

Educational Qualification: Masters Degree in Physics/Biophysics/Forensic Science with Physics as one of the subjects at B.Sc. level from a recognized University or equivalent.

Pay Scale: PB-1: Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2800/-

Educational Qualification:
• B.Sc. with Botany from a recognised University.
• Two years’ experience in collection and preservation of plant specimens in Government Departments, Autonomous Organisations and recognised Universities.
Desirable Qualification: Knowledge in systematic botany, knowledge of field collections or herbarium methodology or arranging botanical exhibits of a museum and ability to read and write in Hindi.

Application Fee
• CRFS of Rs.50/-(Rupees fifty) only.
• No fee for Women candidate/Schedule Castes/Schedule Tribes/PH.

Selection Process

Candidates fulfilling the minimum prescribed qualifications will be shortlisted on the basis of their educational qualifications, academic records, and percentage of marks etc. or through a screening test at the discretion of the Commission. Candidates, thus, selected may be required to undergo a written proficiency test wherever applicable/required or considered necessary by the Commission at its discretion. The Commission holds discretion to fix different qualifying standard for different categories in the proficiency test wherever applicable. Candidates qualified on the basis of merit of proficiency test if any held, would be required to appear at the interview. Final select list would be prepared in order of merit as disclosed by the aggregate marks(marks of Proficiency Test wherever applicable and interview) finally awarded to each candidate taking into account the number of vacancies advertised and in that order so many candidates as are found suitable by the Commission would be recommended.

Qualification:

2. Draughtsman Grade-I: 08 Posts
Qualifications:

Staff Selection Commission Various jobs Recruitment

The Staff Selection Commission will hold a Combined All India Open Examination for recruitment to the following posts under Ministry of Defence:
1. Junior Hindi Translators
Qualification: 
i) Master Degree of a recognised University or equivalent in English/Hindi with Hindi/English as a compulsory or elective at degree level; ii) Candidates must ensure that they have studied English and Hindi as main subjects and not as a paper in all three years of BA Pass course.

2. Hindi Pradhyapak:
Qualification: 
(i) Master’s degree in Hindi with English as one of the subjects at degree level either as compulsory or optional or as a language paper from a recognised university or equivalent (ii) Bachelor’s degree in Education from a recognised university, institute & equivalent (iii) Two years experience of Teaching Hindi at Senior Secondary Level.

3. Senior/Junior Translators:
Qualification: 
i) Master’s degree from a recognised university in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as medium of examination at the degree level; or Master’s degree from a recognised university in English with Hindi as compulsory or elective subject or as medium of examination at degree level; or Master’s degree of a recognised university in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi or English medium and English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as medium of examination at degree level ; or ii) Recognised Diploma or certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa or two years’ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Govt. Offices, including Govt. of India undertakings

Fee: Rs. 100/-. The candidates should pay the fee by means of "Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)"only. CRFS are available at the counter of all Departmental Post Offices of the country
Scheme of Examination: The examination will consist of two parts:
• Paper-I: Written examination carrying 400 marks

SSC Notified Combined All India Open Examination for Recruitment to Various Group B Posts

Paper-II of only those candidates will be evaluated who meet the cut off for Paper-I. Only those candidates who qualify in both Paper I and  Paper-II will be called for Interview.
There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in all Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions.
All candidates who apply by the last date will be assigned Roll numbers. These will be communicated to them or placed on the website of the concerned Regional Office at least two weeks before the date of the examination. 
Candidates must carry at least one photo bearing ID proof in original such as Driving Licence, Voter Card, Aadhaar Card, Identity Card issued by University/College, Income Tax Pan Card to the examination center, failing which they shall not be allowed to appear in the examination.
Scrutiny of Documents will be taken during Interview / Document verification.
Candidates will be recommended for appointment on the basis of their aggregate score in Written exam and Interview. All posts carry All India Service Liability (AISL) i.e. selected candidates can be posted anywhere in the country.
Admission Certificates (ACs) for the Examination indicating the time table and also venues of examination for each candidate will be issued to all applicants about two weeks before the date of examination by the respective regional
office of SSC. Candidates can download the ACs from the concerned SSC Regional / Sub-regional offices website. Such facility will be available about two weeks before the examination.

Candidates, who are unable to download their Admission Certificates or do not receive their Admission Certificates at least one week before the date of the examination, should contact the concerned Regional Office with details
such as Registration ID, Transaction ID for obtaining the Admission Certificates.
Examination Centers: The examination will be held at 24 cities -- Allahabad, Patna, Lucknow, Kolkata, Port Blair, Gangtok, Bhubaneswar, Ranchi, Bengaluru, Kochi, Delhi, Jaipur, Guwahati (Dispur), Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Panaji, Ahmedabad, Raipur, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Jammu, Srinagar and  Leh -- in 9 regions / states across the country on 2 June 2013.
Travel Allowance: No TA will be provided for the Written Test.

Probation: Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of two years, during which they they would be required to undergo training. On completion of probation the candidate, if found fit for permanent appointment, will be confirmed to the post

Application Fee: Non-refundable application fee of Rs.100 has to be paid through CRFS stamps available at all the Departmental post offices.  The stamp should be pasted on the application form,  in the space provide, an got cancelled from the post office of purchase, with date of purchase and name of post office clearly visible, such that the impression of cancellation partially overflows on the application form.

Female, SC / ST candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
How to Apply: Interested eligible candidate should send their applications, in the prescribed format to the concerned Regional office of Staff Selection Commission. For detailed address, see notification. The application should reach the concerned SSC office on or before the prescribed last Date. Candidates will be required to indicate in the application form, the order of preference for the posts and also their preference for states for placement, in the event of their selection.
